  • You should start moving as soon as you feel better, and you should do it every two hours.

  • Do not eat food on the second day of the procedure, but you should eat ice chips, after this period you can eat a diet based on clear liquids.
  • Avoid diarrhea or constipation by going to the bathroom at the same time every day, and be sure to use the bathroom after meals.
  • Make sure to walk daily.
  • Make sure to drink a large amount of water daily, not less than 2 liters.
  • Eat foods rich in fiber.
  • Shower and clean the wound using warm water, making sure to dry the area gently.
  • Eat small amounts of foods even if you don’t feel like eating, and make sure to eat protein and get the right amount of calories.
  • Make sure you don’t lift any heavy objects for at least 6 to 8 weeks.
  • Do not engage in any kind of activities or sports that require effort.
