When does the patient stop dialysis?
Basically, it depends on the cause of the kidney disease that the patient suffers from. If you suffer from a kidney problem as a result of health problems that temporarily damaged the kidneys, such as burns, severe dehydration, severe pregnancy complications, or blood poisoning, then you will have to treat the problem with Continue dialysis during this period.
Dialysis continues in the event of temporary kidney failure for several weeks or months, depending on the case, and as soon as the kidneys return to normal after treating the condition causing the kidney problems, dialysis is stopped.
In the case of chronic renal failure, in which the kidneys are completely damaged, the patient needs to continue on dialysis throughout his life without stopping, or until he performs a kidney transplant during which he replaces the damaged kidneys with healthy ones, then he can stop dialysis.
