Is it normal not to feel any symptoms after embryo transfer?

Some women are concerned about not feeling any symptoms after embryo transfer after IVF or embryo freezing, but there is no need to worry. Symptoms are supposed to appear within two weeks after the embryo transfer stage, and the most prominent of these symptoms are:

  • implantation bleeding
  • convulsions
  • breast changes
  • nausea
  • bloating
  • increased need to urinate
  • Lack of menstruation

But if these symptoms do not appear, there is no need to worry, it is possible that the symptoms will be delayed or not appear clearly, and this does not mean the failure of the embryo transfer process. About 10 to 15% of women who do not show any symptoms have a positive pregnancy and there is no problem with it.

Therefore, it is better to be patient and wait for two weeks after the implantation process and do a pregnancy test to confirm the positive pregnancy, because this is the only correct way to detect pregnancy and the result of the operation, and that is by following up with the specialized doctor who follows your case.
